The New Moon in Virgo at 14° is upon us and entering its complete dark phase on September 6/7, 2021. As I sit in the morning darkness on this New Moon day, the silence soothes my empathic soul. I sip hot, black coffee and take to my keyboard. Images of what this New Moon can be for the collective is inspiring. Virgo can bring a reset to the mind and our thoughts, she is the grounded embodiment of us all and asks that we take a good, hard deep look into what is out of place currently in our lives and get it back in to a semblance of order. Virgo to me is the Body in its purest form and this New Moon is our opportunity to get our own bodies back to that purest form. She is the one that has us taking a look at all of the details of our bodies and we could possibly see that we need to nourish ourselves more holistically or prepare ourselves in such a way for the coming season change. She is taking stock of what will be needed to endure the next phase; as she is cleaning out the cabinets and discarding any goods that have expired so she can restock the shelves with fresh. That is just an image that came to my mind. I also see her with a magnifying glass, taking a close hard look at the details of the daily routine, the players involved, the schedule and obligations on her day to day. How can she clean that up and make her week run smoother with less clutter and complications that drain valuable time from the pleasures in life? We could all take note here during this Virgo Season.
The 14° of this New Moon is very Virgoan as well– netting to a 5 (the number of change) either we need to make changes or changes will be taking place. It has the essence of belonging and finding our place within the confines of the whole; when we discover what is not fitting or not working or out of place, why stay there any longer? – taken from AffinityNumerology:

In addition to this New Moon in Virgo, Mercury will be entering his Pre-Shadow period in preparation of the upcoming Mercury Retrograde. This Pre-Shadow begins at 10° Libra and will travel to 25° when Mercury will Station and then begin the Retrograde Cycle from September 27 – October 18, 2021. The Post-Shadow will run through November 3, 2021. Instead of going into a panic, now would be a good time to keep a journal and jot down highlights of the days between September 6-27 as the events, emotions, communications, and conversations are our individual clues of what we will each be covering during this Retrograde period. Pay special attention to what triggers emotion within as those triggers will be our greatest teacher during this time. Even though, Mercury Retrogrades are often met with delays and snafus, it truly is a wonderful time to slow down and do some reflective work and reevaluation in order to grow as a soul or human instead of stay stuck in the muck of the same merry-go-round that one cannot seem to get off of; doing the work during the Rx period shows us an exit strategy through the expansion of our perception of our situations.
