Today feels like walking through a veil of fog, yet at the same time having to shield our eyes from the blinding light. Mercury, although Stationed Direct, has not moved since June 18th at 16°, almost keeping us in a holding pattern to open up and preparing us for more clarity. Meanwhile, Jupiter and Neptune both stationed Retrograde and even though they do this every year, almost around the same time, the clarity they bring has not yet kicked in and they move barely a few degrees, thus only covering a small more concentrated portion of the collective energy. The highlight is on Mutable Signs; Pisces, Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius for the Neptune Rx and from 20° to 23° – look in your chart to see if you have anything in those areas for where this clarity may pull the blinders from our eyes and reveal what has been there all along and between 00° and 2° as well. Piscean energy is strong and veils have been very thin, forcing us to look at what we did not want to before in the outer world and within the people around us. My mind is all a buzz with new ideas and information coming in, yet my body does not feel like moving and taking action on anything, so the brilliant flashes pass quickly and my head feels like Grand Central Station with the hustle and bustle of traffic and destination yet to be determined.
The Week in Astrology:
- Moon in Aquarius, Pisces, Aries and Taurus during this week covers all elements and emotions. The Moon will be making numerous aspects to the planets all week leading me to feel like we are in a boat on a lake or in the ocean and a wave runner comes zooming by, creating a wake that sends our boats through some rough, emotional waters. I feel a little sea sick from the vision. Stay as grounded as you can. Take a cue from the Cancer Sun and nurture, nurture, nurture, keep the shell handy if needed for a retreat, I personally love to take my shoes off and stand in the grass, the sand, ocean, garden – anything that is “the ground”, taking some deep breaths. Known as Earthing, it dispels negative energy in the mind and body immediately. Also known to ease physical or emotional pain for the duration of physical body is in direct contact with it.
- June 26 – Mercury in Gemini Squares Saturn Rx – what might we be having to re-review? Although Mercury Stationed Direct, he still has not moved from 16°. There could be some narrow mindedness at play, a possible decision needs to be considered or we could be regretting something we said over the last few weeks. We either could be feeling serious about getting shit together or constructing a diabolical and dishonest plan.
- June 27 – Venus moves into Leo, joining Mars and the heat is on. This could be a lovely few weeks full of passion and fun, if we just allow ourselves to soak in the fiery energy of this time. We could accomplish much as Mars sextiles Jupiter; we are dreaming bigger, better, louder. There is a lot of Moon activity which equates to an emotional rollercoaster for some.
- June 28 – Mercury finally begins moving finally freeing up our minds to decide on our path or direction that last week’s Full Moon in Capricorn energized us for. Mercury at 17° begins to move toward his starting point of 24° where he began in mid May and will reach by July 7th. Each day we get a little clearer. Mars in Leo Sextiling the North Node in Gemini joins in directing the path. Mars is ready to make it happen. Uranus in Taurus Trining Pluto in Capricorn is harmonious enough to look at how we are relating to people and “things” and asks if or what is it or who is it that we value; what or who is important and how do they align with this new or renewed path? Sun in Cancer Trining the Midheaven has us getting real with what is taking up space in our inner and outer worlds asking if we love our jobs, our homes and the people in those places. With the forward movement of Mercury, we could be getting honest with what we hate about all of it and quitting or shifting towards what makes our hearts sing versus sting. Venus Quincunxing the Moon leads to a tendency to cater to others desires, which could be the trigger of regret or sorrow if not reciprocated.

- June 30 – Venus in Leo Sextiles Mercury in Gemini – air makes fire grow and expand therefore fresh thoughts will ignite the heart. Reminder – get out of those old outworn ideologies or remain stuck in the ashes.
- July 1 – Mercury in Gemini Square Mars in Leo and Mars in Leo opposes Saturn Rx in Aquarius – This could be a tense day and overthinking could lead to physical exhaustion. Combative, sharp opinions could lead to defeat. There is frustration in the air as we may feel like we are being held back from our fair share or we have to fight for every crumb that fell to the bottom of the bag. Our own insecurities and overthinking just taxes our physical reserves. Today is a good day to stay out of each other’s way, do what has to get done, meditate or find quite space alone from the fray.
- July 2 – Mars in Leo Trines Chiron in Aries – are we finally standing up for ourselves after yesterday’s kerfuffle or are we licking our Wounded Ego? We could be overly prideful and emboldened. Chiron is the Great Teacher so he was or is teaching us all a lesson about ourselves; so what did we learn?
- July 3 – Tensions Rise as Mars is aspecting the Sun, North Node and Uranus. Mars in Leo Squaring Uranus in Taurus feels like a bully instigating a fight. Although the Bull is slow to provoke, the ground begins to rumble upsetting the apple cart. Caution of something breaking and this could be in the literal sense I feel. Can’t quite put my finger on it, but could it be breaking news, breaking Earth, a tidal wave??? IDK something is coming.
