The Solstice is upon us coming in on June 21, 2023, at 10:57:50 a.m. EST; the Wheel of the Year turns once again and we enter Litha, and the Sun enters the Cardinal Point and Sign of Cancer, The Crab, and the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, symbolizing following our bliss, a time spent with those closest to us and those we care for the most. The Moon, Venus and Mars in Leo says to me that this will be a grand Summer, full of play and creativity, romance, and laughter; we can truly come back to who we are at our core. There is also a Grand Trine in Water between the Sun in Cancer, Saturn in Pisces and the South Node in Scorpio which speaks of letting go of a lesson and hurt from the past, an old toxic and rotting situation or belief, a story that keeps one trapped in the role of the victim. Tapping into our intuition, following our gut and speaking to our emotional body; this is a wonderful Season for healing the emotional body by allowing the energy of that Stellium in Leo to shine through the Heart, Solar Plexus and Sacral Chakras. My crystal for the Solstice is Malachite which will help to clear all Chakras so that we can feel safe and connected, knowing that we have plenty and that we are Divinely Guided as well. This energy carries until the next Solstice in December; six months of finding and following our bliss.

I feel that with the concentrated energy in Leo, we need to focus on our Heart in true Lion fashion. I pulled some cards for us for this new surge of energy coming in and they really match the energy of the chart… The first card is card 7 -When you hear a Sasquatch Sigh from Colette Baron Reid
Essential Message: spiritual narcolepsy, seeing through the lens of separation, competition, arrogance, ego, narrow-mindedness.
The Oracle’s Message: If you hear a Sasquatch sigh, know that they are sad because you’ve fallen into the trap of spiritual narcolepsy: you’ve forgotten your partnership with the Universe and instead are working through your ego. You think you see clearly, but you’re temporarily blinded to the magic in the world. Perhaps you’re comparing yourself with others. Or perhaps you are seeing through the lens of lack and limitation, and therefore thinking there isn’t enough or that you are not enough.
In this moment you’re being called to wake up and remember the inherent divinity in all things and in all people. Perhaps you can’t see the magic and mystery because you’ve lost faith, you don’t believe, or you’ve become hypnotized by temporary outer conditions that present as rigid or fixed. You may feel an overwhelming weight and responsibility on your shoulders to make things happen. Yes, life can be truly hard, unfair, unreliable, exhausting, irrational, and chaotic, but none of those things are permanent or personal. Remember all things must change, and you are now and always have been a conduit for miracles.
The other collective of cards pulled give us the Water Faery bringing in that Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio energy.
When the Water Faery swims up to you with her liquid magic, she reminds you that emotions and feelings may be running the show. She asks you to consider how you really feel about things, and why. She also reminds you that you are not your feelings; you are the one experiencing them.
Remember that as water flows, emotions change. The Water Faery also tells you that it’s time to lose your rigidity. Be fluid and willing at times to compromise, and allow change to happen.
If you’re happy right now, enjoy, for the Water Faery swirls her love around you. If things are making you sad, she comes to wash away your tears. The Water Faery knows the power of emotions, so when she appears, be mindful of them and how they affect you. Then we have the Two of Wands bringing in the Fire Energy of that Leo Stellium indicating new growth, setting romantic goals, making plans in love, planning future together, planning your career, taking first steps in your career, envisioning dreams, planning your long term financial future, laying foundations. Then the next two cards are both the Earthy Virgo energy asking us to keep to task, stay inspired and attend to the details.
Last, but not least, my crystal for the Solstice is Malachite.
My card for the Solstice and the next 6 months to the next Solstice – Malachite/Will from the Crystal Ally Cards. Malachite asks us to take a good look at how and why we are using and exerting our will. The force of our will is one of the crucial energies that we use in creating our reality. Our willingness to ask the universe for assistance is necessary because our free will choice is one of the hard and fast universal laws which cannot be bent or broken, regardless of circumstance. We get to choose the role of victim or creator based on how we use and apply our will to create our experiences every single day. We also choose the role of pawn to universal energies or co-creator of our reality each and every day based on our willingness to ask for and accept help from the universe. Honestly assess if your will is aligned with ego or with the flow of the universe. When your will is aligned with ego, you will attempt to create through manipulation or coercion. When you are aligned with the divine, you release all expectations of the form that your creations and manifestations will take and you focus only on manifesting that which is for your highest good and the highest good of others.
Look at your current situation, also look at how you are using your will to both create and maintain your experience. When you choose the path of balance, striving for the right use of will, the universe will always guide you for resolution that is for the highest good. Malachite will help you clear the influence of your ego from your creations, allowing you to manifest the will of the universe. Affirm: I am in balance with the universe and its will.
